Hejsan, My wife and i had stopped in several months ago and bought some cookies. I was the one who is Swedish and moved up here last year from Atlanta. I’m not sure if you remember me. Anyway, my wife is planing a Lucia/Christmas event at the Denmark Arts Center on Friday, December 18 at 7:30pm. First of all, we would like to invite you to the event. Second, we would like to know if you know of any singers who might like to participate in the show and if you know anyone who might know the Lucia song. Also, we would like to order some Bullar and cookies for the event. Please let us know. You can email us at culinden@gmail.com or call us at 207 452 2118. Thank you.

Good afternoon. I am a second generation Swede (My mormor and morfar immigrated here) . My Aunt Anna treated me to much Swedish cooking. I used to do some myself and last summer finally got to go to Stockholm, Trollhatton, Ramnered, and Goteberg. I was so excited when a very good friend of mine found you on the web. Now I am anxious for limpabrod, spritz, pepparcokker (I have to spell some of these phonetically),bulla, in largh sil (the home made kind) and semla. We will be up to see you soon
Hello Betty! I can’t wait to try some of the goodies. And possibly get the chance to bake/cook with you! Enjoy a blessed day! Your brother, Carl Glowacki
Good morning, Carl
Your very kind words, I appreciate so much. It would be a PLEASURE to cook and bake with my brother! Talk with you soon,
Blessings and Love, Betty
Thank you Betty for the delicious almond cake for our friend’s 97th birthday! It was delicious, everyone loved it! It was so kind of you to write happy birthday in Swedish and the candles were such a nice touch! Thank you again! We hope to stop in the future!

My grandparents emigrated from Skane, Sweden, in the early 1900’s and I was able to visit family there in 1969. My daughter and I hope to visit your bakery next summer (2021).
